This term, students will be developing their performance skills through musical theatre, with a particular focus on rhythm, choreography and ensemble work.
Acting
Building confidence, characterisation and storytelling.
Singing
Developing the ability to learn lyrics, vocal technique and performance skills.
Dancing
Learning technical steps, choreography, movement and stage presence.
Infants Tutor: CARRIE STRAHAN
Carrie is a Dublin performer who is in her final year at Rom Theatre Arts degree course. She started performing at the age of 2 and has been involved with multiple theatre and dance companies in Dublin. She started assisting in her local dance school at 16 and started teaching at 18. Carrie is excited to teach in RTA Kids and share her passion for performing with the next generation of stars.
uniform and what to bring to rta kids
👕 Uniform
At RTA Kids, we want our students to feel comfortable, confident and ready to move!
Students should attend classes in black clothing and wear their RTA Kids uniform, which can include an RTA Kids T-shirt, hoodie or tracksuit.
For the majority of classes, students should wear appropriate jazz shoes.
If your child attends Ballet or Tap, they will also need the correct footwear for those classes. Please ensure they bring their ballet shoes or tap shoes as appropriate.
🎒 What to Bring
Please make sure your child arrives with:
- Their appropriate RTA Kids uniform
- Correct dance footwear for their class
- A labelled water bottle
- A healthy snack for our short break time, must not contain nuts
- Any essential medication they may require
- Any additional equipment requested by their tutor
Please ensure all belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name, as RTA Kids cannot be responsible for lost or misplaced personal items.
