Our History
RTA Kids, formerly known as Scene II Theatre School, was founded nearly 20 years ago by Jacky and Mikki Rom, a mother-and-daughter team passionate about nurturing young talent and fostering a love for the performing arts. Their shared vision was to create a creative and supportive space where children could explore and develop their artistic potential. Over the years, the school has evolved into a vibrant performing arts academy, offering classes in ballet, tap, jazz, singing, acting, acrobatics, and musical theatre for children aged 2 and up. Renowned for its inclusive environment, RTA Kids has helped countless students build confidence and achieve success, with many going on to prominent careers in TV, film, and theatre. As it approaches its 20th anniversary Mikki Rom continues to honor the legacy of inspiring the next generation of performers.
